While today Beverly Hills is synonymous with fame, fortune and exclusivity it retains its small-town feeling, something that Luxe Beverly Hills emulates perfectly welcoming both celebrities and tourists alike. They describe their style as a combination of “classic warmth with minimal chic” and being the only hotel on Rodeo Drive they have struck this balance with perfection. Their recent 15 million dollar renovation by designer Vicente Wolf keeps the building very well in touch with current styles and needs while retaining its history and personality.

We were recently hosted by Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel overlooking the road with all the luxury brands and expensive cars! Wow! Taking in the wide avenue of trees and amazing cars gliding by, we have always dreamed of visiting Beverly Hills but could only dream of doing it in luxury, finally made it! It’s a shame we can’t shop in all of the shops of luxury brands like Gucci, Balenciaga, and Ferragamo across the street but window shopping is almost as good. Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel is situated in an iconic location of Beverly Hills, and with so many tours passing daily we felt like celebrities, even more so with the champagne waiting on ice for us in our room.

    ACCOMMODATION

Once we were tired of counting sports cars through the wide windows we turned to look at our room which was almost taken up by the enormous King size bed, it was the perfect luxurious contrast to our adventure through Joshua Tree national park in which we were sponsored with a car by Mazda and camped under the stars. The room was completely kitted out with all the gadgets you might need, even a bedside tablet to order anything we liked from reception and room service (something we made good use of over the few days that they hosted us!)

      FOOD

Their “club” package is fantastic, in which you pay a set price per day for a comprehensive breakfast spread, alcoholic drinks including spirits, beer and wine, tea, coffee and soft drinks all day and even appetizers during the evening. All this is served in their newly refurbished bar and restaurant, not only frequented by guests but many taking in the area for work or pleasure

      AREA GUIDE

Luxe Hotel Rodeo Drive’s central location is great for visiting the Getty, LA county museum and of course, passing by the Wiltshire hotel at the bottom of the street where Pretty Woman was filmed.

The main activity here apart from celebrity spotting is obviously shopping with plenty of malls within walking distance like Two Rodeo Drive and Neiman Marcus, but culture is certainly not missing either with a host of art galleries such as Mouache and Ace Gallery as well as many theatres. With its prime spot on Rodeo Drive, you can’t get closer to the key attractions of Beverly Hills than the Luxe.

Santa Monica beach and its pier are close by, and the promenade is a welcome escape from the busy shopping avenues. If in Hollywood no doubt the Walk of Fame is on your list but don’t miss the wax museum, Ripley’s Museum or Mann’s Chinese theatre. Finally, kids and adults alike will be itching to visit Disneyland and Universal Studios.

Also on the miracle mile, you can find the Peterson Automotive Museum, George C Page Museum of La Brea Discoveries and La Brea Tar Pits.

      TIPS

For the true taste of Rodeo Drive life ask for a room overlooking the street so that, like us, you can gaze out in awe of the rich and famous strolling by. Don’t be put off by road noise; the building is well insulated.

      Service:
The front desk staff is such an asset to this hotel, always friendly and welcoming as we passed on our way in or out. It’s clear that they and all the staff throughout the hotel have a strong connection with the area and do their best to welcome guests of all kinds to enjoy it to the full.

Note: This is a sponsored hotel stay with Luxe Hotel Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills and all opinions and text are all mines! Thank you to everyone we met who helped to make this such a special experience
